Foo Ho Chinese Restaurant in Barnegat

Sweet and Sour chicken was good. Pork fried rice was done well. Crispy noodles were fresh and the spicy mustard was good, could be a bit less liquidy though.

Love foo ho Chinese.

Food is ok. Woman up front is rude. Don't go out back. Scary what they dump outside. Cant be good for environment.

Every time I order there’s always an issue with it. Food is great just check to make sure your order is correct before you leave. The only thing is some times it looks right and then you bite into it and it’s not.

Omg Every time me and my mom order we get the dumplings steamed chicken wings and a large general chows chicken or the boneless spareribs oh my God the best in New Jersey I haven’t tasted anything cleaner and fresher rat 61 and they bring it to us every time thank you so much foo hoo

Very well run with an open kitchen to demonstrate it's efficiency and always top quality. Excellent service also and always consistent.

Disappointed. Ordered veggie egg foo young and got only mushrooms and a couple sprouts. Was hoping for variety. Wonton soup was good

The cook has been seen by myself and multiple other people all the time getting and using thrown out ingredients out of the dumpster from the food store next door. Disgusting. They should be put in jail.

Greasy, horrible tasting and I found a metal bag tie wire in my shrimp toast. I will never order from them again.

Food was old and hard had chicken on a stick it was black. Shrimp with bacon was like they poured batter on it .very tiny peace of bacon shrimp was tuff. General toos chicken was the only thing good. NEVER GOING BACK

Better than most places

Frequently, this hidden eatery, is on top of the "Best Of " restaurants in Barnegat surveys. To be fair, it is a pure TakeOut place. There are 3 booths, but I have never seen anyone use them, except for waiting. But, for great, fresh, Chinese-American food, this is the best, locally, hands down. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and generous. This is in the Big Lots Strip Mall, one of the tiny storefronts. Easy to miss from the road.

Food was good, but for the first time ever ordering from there...the girl who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude...how you treat the customer is everything, probably won’t be calling back

I don’t normally review things but when I googled foo ho for the number, I couldn’t help but notice the negative reviews and had to chime in. Foo ho is the best Chinese I’ve ever had! I can’t speak on other people’s experiences but I have never had a bad meal there and I’ve been going for 6 years.

Rude manager impossible to talk to on phone bring wrong order to my house then they tell me to bring it back done never order from them again will order from other Chinese food place in Waretown

Foo Ho is Number 1 in my book. The place is clean and the portions are generous. The owners work hard. They deserve your patronage.

Best Chinese food in Barnegat. Fresh vegetables and above average meat. We love the Hunan chicken, boneless ribs and hot and sour soup.

Just ordered sesame chicken with rice, crab rangoon and shrimp lo main. The only thing that was good was the rice. Sesame chicken was hard definitely old lo mein had no flavor and too much onions overkill. Crab rangoon just tasted like creamed cheese it was missing that sweet taste. Won't be ordering again no thanks

Best chinese I've ever had, and I travel a LOT. I have been going here for close to 20 years, if not more. Everything I get is so good! Definitely the best lo mein! Fried dumplings are amazing too!

I was very disappointed when after being a faithful customer to this restaurant I was treated very nasty by the one woman. There was a nice sized piece of shrimp was in my order of pork chow mein. The woman was very unreasonable in her response to this situation ,and refused to give a refund for just the chow mein(our order always came to about $35-$40). The food was very delicious when we first started going there. After this ordeal,we won't be going back,ever..

I don’t know how to take this but I watched the one guy bring people food out to them to their car. Once I was standing out my car my food wasn’t brought to me he told me leave the money there and back up. I was kind of startle. He drop my food and took off. But everyone else which was white he didn’t have a problem taking their money... I don’t know what else to say...

Was Told fifteen minutes for pickup. Placed order while 25 minutes away . Got there and order wasn't even started. Sat in parking lot for another 30 mins before order was ready

Order took almost 2 hours to deliver. After years of patronage I will be going elsewhere. Cood delivered only slightly warm. More and more dissatisfied with every order. They have finally after so many disappointments lost my business for good. Food and service have gone downhill.

Been ordering from years. Best place in town for some Chinese Takeout! I seriously recommend the pineapple chicken and cheese wontons, they're just plain amazing.

The only place to go for good Chinese at a fair price. Pick-up or delivery it has always been hot ,fresh and delicious. Believe me when I tell you..they are the best in ocean county for sure.

Great food, good prices.....BUT...extremely rude. I completely understand how crazy and busy it can get, but even on a slow Saturday afternoon I cringe having to pick up the food because they are so rude and nasty..I do it for the dumplings.....
